What All Men Should Do. How Rob Shows His Love For Kristen …

Rob doesn’t show his affection for Kristen through chocolates and roses — he does it in a more thoughtful way. Read on to find out the adorable ways he shows Kristen his love!

Robert Pattinson, 25, is a one-of-a-kind gentleman. Seriously, it’s not everyday you meet a guy who will open up your chopsticks for you — like Rob does for lucky girlfriend, Kristen Stewart.

During a romantic date Feb. 6 at Iwata restaurant in Sherman Oaks, Calif., the lovebirds were spotted canoodling over sushi. And Rob definitely didn’t forget his chivalry at home.

“Rob poured soy cause for Kristen, which is a Japanese tradition, and even opened her chopsticks,” an eyewitness told Life & Style.

Isn’t that the most adorable thing you’ve EVER heard? And just wait — it gets even better.

After their date, the mag reports that Rob and Kristen popped in at the American Vintage and Iguana Vintage Clothing shop across the street from the restaurant.

“They were making out and had their hands in each other’s back pocket,” another source tells the mag. “Kristen tried on T-shirts and Rob was telling her how awesome she looked.”

So what we’ve learned from this is that Rob is a man who will open up your chopsticks, pour your soy sauce for you and then happily go shopping after a date only to tell you how “awesome” you look in everything you try on?

Kristen Stewart, you better hold on to this one! He is definitely a keeper.

Kristen Had Problems Playing Snow White ….

Actress Kristen Stewart says she had trouble with her transition from Twilight‘s Bella Swan to perfect princess Snow White.

The 21-year-old actress says she found her goody-goody character in Snow White and the Huntsman difficult to relate to, reported Showbizspy.

“It’s strange playing a character that you could never truly embody. I can’t have Snow White’s effect on people and I can’t actually be completely selfless. Nobody is. It’s strange to claim that. She’s very far-fetched from the reality that we live,” she said.

Kristen Compares “Snow White” and “Bella” …..

Kristen Stewart seems to think her character in Snow White and the Huntsman and her Twilight Saga character, Bella Swan have a lot in common. While their similarities might not be apparent to anyone else, KStew should know. She played the two seemingly very different women in back-to-back films. So what does the clumsy, clingy, co-dependent Bella Swan have in common with the “fairest of them all?” Aside, that is, from the fact that both characters have been brought to life on film by La Stewart?

“They both come to find that they’re leaders,” Kristen Stewart explained in a recent interview with Teen.com. “That’s definitely a similarity. Both of them are sort of a little more intuitive and spiritually, for whatever reason, connected, and their gut is always sort of dead right.”

Hmm. Well, if KStew says so. Of course, audiences have yet to see her bring Snow White to life and therefore, they can’t accurately compare and contrast the two. It’s interesting that KStew considers Bella Swan a leader. Throughout most of Twilight, she seems like more of a damsel in distress. Snow White is too, of course, but not by choice.

Oh well, Snow White and the Huntsman is scheduled for release in theaters on June 1. You can decide for yourself what if anything KStew’s two characters have in common and which one you like best. Not surprisingly, the vast majority of respondents in a recent Hollywood Life poll think they’ll still prefer Bella Swan. A 61.69% chose Edward Cullen’s lady-love over the paltry 15.73% who preferred the fairy tale heroine. 22.58% decided they’d wait to see Show White and the Huntsman before deciding.

Wonder which Kristen Stewart incarnation Robert Pattinson prefers?

Will Rob and Kristen Be At The 2012 Oscars???

It appears Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart won’t be attending the 2012 Oscars ceremony, together, or at all. A recent report sheds light on the likelihood the Twilight stars will appear at the annual awards show.

There had been speculation that the stars of Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn might be on-stage presenters for the awards show. However, Twi-hards may be disappointed to learn that Pattinson and Stewart probably won’t be there.

According to E! Online Red Carpet, an Academy Source is saying “I don’t think it’s going to happen.” That source comes from the Oscar pre-production staff, so they must have a good handle on which stars will be sitting where, and who will be around for the show.

In their report, E! notes that both Rob Pattinson and KStewart have been at the Oscars before. Rob was there in 2009 to present a tribute to romance along with Amanda Seyfried. Kristen was there in 2010 and co-presented a tribute to horror films with Taylor Lautner. Both times they appeared on the show it seemed to get their fans interested in seeing the Oscars more. Twilight usually isn’t nominated for much unless there’s a technical award such as special effects, sound effects, or makeup.

It would be a smart move for the people behind the Oscars to get Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart together on stage since they are among the most talked about young celebs, besides Bieber and Gomez. Taylor Lautner would add to the fervor surrounding them. Maybe all three will get to present together as their final Twilight movie is coming up within the year?

Kristen Stewart Used A “ROBOT” Double In Breaking Dawn ….

Kristen Stewart Got A Double For Birth Scene In Twilight's Breaking Dawn!

Photo: Wenn

We’ve heard about star’s using a butt double to make sure their assets look their best, but Kristen Stewart had a double of sorts for her birth scenes in Twilight’s latest installment for ‘Breaking Dawn’.

We were all weirded out, watching Edward and Bella’s baby kill her from the inside, and we watched as Kristen Stewart appeared more and more emaciated, but who did the director pull off such a shocking visual?

Well, by using a robot! Yes, a robot.

‘Twilight’s’ animatronics department put together a Bella-like robot to pull off the horrific moments, where she appears to have wasted away.

Talking to MTV, John Rosengrant, the movie’s animatronics and special makeup effects supervisor said: “It’s very hybrid, the approach. We tried to shape the whole Bella, what she looks like emaciated and all that, but it’s also digitally augmented, and that was from the get-go, this was going to be a hybrid-type effect.”

Even Rosengrant said that it was “creepy”. “It was creepy when we created the look of her, in a good way,” he explained.

“I was actually shocked that was the edict and I think that is maybe [credit] to Bill Condon as the director, wanting to make something like that real because the previous movies didn’t strike me that they would embrace something like this.”

Are you surprised? Well at least we’re glad that Kristen didn’t have to drop all of that weight. There’s nothing of her as it is!

“Love is Irrational: Why We Love and Loathe Twilight”

On Tuesday, January 24, the Women’s Resource Center (WRC) hosted a pair of speakers, Dr. Tanya R. Cochran and Nikki Stafford, who presented a speech on the phenomenon of the Twilight series. Cochran introduced Stafford, a pop culture expert who writes companion books for television shows like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Alias, Xena and the Finding Lost series. Cochran also led the discussion at the end of Stafford’s speech.

The presentation was titled “Love is Irrational: Why We Love and Loathe Twilight” as the Twilight series carries an enormous following of devoted fans and an equally enormous group of vicious critics. Stafford found the text very problematic, particularly in its depiction of male/female relationships. However, she did allow that the Twilight series presents a teen heroine that females can both identify with and despise.

Bella Swan is, according to Stafford, “the type of teen that most of us were and try desperately to forget.” Stafford believes that so many young women identify with Bella because she is “real” in the sense that the series is essentially about Bella’s journey to build a family. Bella comes from what Stafford described as a “broken home.” Stafford asserts that many young people can identify with this and the desire for a strong, stable family to rely upon.

Throughout the presentation, Stafford referenced other series – particularly the ones that Twilight tends to be compared to—Bella Swan is often compared to strong teen heroines like Buffy Summers and Katniss Everdeen. However, according to Stafford, these comparisons are unfair because teens are not actually like Buffy or Katniss. Instead, Stafford posits that teens (and adults) would like to emulate these figures even though they cannot fully do so until adulthood.

At the conclusion of Stafford’s speech, Dr. Cochran opened up the floor for discussion. The following conversation was peppered with confessions along the lines of “I used to love Twilight, but now I can’t imagine why,” as well as with questions, one of which touched on the hotly debated topic of whether or not sparkly vampires really count as vampires. It seemed apparent that Stephanie Meyers had never read Bram Stoker’s Dracula, the text upon which most vampire tradition is based. When all was said and done it appeared as though only a few in attendance had changed his or her opinion of Twilight.

Nikki Reed Says That Kristen Stewart Makes A Beautiful Vampire …..

Kristen Stewart, Breaking Dawn, Nikki Reed Summit Entertainment

There’s going to be some fresh blood in the Cullen vampire gang this November—which is, of course, when Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters.

And no, we’re not talking about Edward Cullen’s half-bloodsucker demon baby, we mean his now undead wifey Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart). And it looks like we’re not the only ones so excited about K.Stew’s transformation:

Fellow Twilight gal Nikki Reed is, too!

We caught up with Nikki over the weekend at the Rolling Stone Super Bowl party and had to ask the chickie—who’s played ice queen Rosalie in all of the vampy flicks so far—if there was any part of BD Pt. 2 that she was particularly excited for fans to see:

“Kristen makes a really awesome vampire,” Ms. Reed gushed to us. “And I think that everybody has been waiting to see how that transformation goes down and she makes a really beautiful vampire.”

So much for costar feuding, eh?!

Must say, our expectations are very high for vampire Kristen. Not only did we love the last few minutes of Breaking Dawn Part 1—in which Bella goes from corpse to vamp babe with pearly white skin and blood red eyes—but we’ve heard K.Stew was eager to take on her new fanged persona.

Remember, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg said it was a “great challenge” for an actor.

So K.Stew must be keeping up with the other vamps then, who’ve already had three films of practice to get used to those pesky contacts and lethal fangs?

“Oh, yeah! For sure,” Nikki assured us. “Totally!”

Well, now we’re not sure whether we’re more excited to see Kristen go totally badass for Snow White or turn fabulously fanged for Breaking Dawn Part 2…so you tell us which transformation you’re more psyched for!

“Twilight” Breaking Dawn Pt 1 DVD Secrets …..

<br />
An idyllic Brazilian honeymoon? Actually the water was c-c-cold. And then the rains came.
Summit Entertainment

When it comes to driving a speedboat, Robert Pattinson is not nearly as suave as vampire Edward Cullen. And you might think Kristen Stewart is no dummy, but she is, at least in some scenes.
That’s just some of what we learned from the extras on the “Twilight: Breaking Dawn — Part 1” DVD, coming out Saturday:
• “I went for a lesson and crashed the practice boat,” Pattinson admits, sheepishly, when explaining his prep for his character’s honeymoon jaunt with his bride. “And then I went to Brazil and crashed the Brazilian boat, too. I am definitely not nautical.”
• As a sickly, pregnant Bella, Stewart had to appear to drop from 110 pounds to about 70 pounds. Filmmakers used a combination of digital effects, prosthetic appliances, makeup, lighting and a horribly emaciated, life-size and lifelike doll. “I’ve always wanted to hang out with myself,” Stewart says of her doppelganger.
• Author Stephenie Meyer always envisioned that Bella’s wedding dress would be designed by the likes of Carolina Herrera, so that’s who was hired to help create the lacy, 1920s-inspired gown for the film. “I wanted the dress to be something really special,” says Meyer, who was also one of the film’s producers. “Not something you’re going to see every day. Not something you’re going to pick out at a store somewhere.”
• Say what you will about the talking-wolf scenes — they were even funnier for the actors. Jackson Rathbone, who plays vampire Jasper, explains that he had to wrestle giant beanbags to simulate the CGI critters on the attack. “The hardest part about shooting these scenes,” he says, “is not laughing the entire time.”
The DVD extras include a six-part making-of documentary, a glimpse into “Jacob’s Destiny” for fans on that team, a director commentary and a — sorry to say — cheesy “wedding video.”
The film recently surpassed the $700 million mark at the worldwide box office. “Breaking Dawn — Part 2,” the fifth and final installment, is set to open Nov. 16.
