So NEW MOON has finally come out to sold out showings everywhere.
So what did you think of it. Did you like it? Was it too long, too short, did it follow the book close enough for you?
And do you like the NEW MOON 3D poster?

I went to see the mid-night showing of New Moon it was Awesome. Kristen, Rob n Taylor were amazing. Chris Weitz I love you. LOL I thought it follow the book very well. It took out parts that would have drawn the movie out left part in that were right on. 3D poster Awesome!
Ok, I’ve just about floated back down from my New Moon cloud! I’m composed enough now to make a comment on New Moon… lol
It was 100% better than Twilight… some of the scenes were beautifully shot and pulled at the heart strings. After reading various reviews about the CGI wolves I was expecting tacky and disappointment ~ quite the opposite in fact, I gripped my seat during the Wolf fight scenes!
Billy Burke impressed me too.. loved his facial expressions and the humour he brought ~ great actor!
The intimate scenes between Bella and Jacob were adorable and sometimes heartbreaking to watch but Taylor Lautner totally made this his movie. I left the cinema thinking ok so I’m team Jacob now ! Chris Weitz you have a lot to answer for Mr … making me switch teams..!! (almost)
The Volturi and Michael Sheen (an absolute quality actor) were convincing and left me wanting more, more, more….. And, the vampire fight scene blew me away. WOW.
But, (there’s always a but) I felt the jump to Italy, Volterra and the Voluturi was rushed… required more suspense and angst. I got that from the book but not the film.
And finally, Edward and Bella’s closing scene …. ok so I may have teared up a little (and I have my own private reasons for doing so…) but I loved that Edwards proposal was included. Dramatic, sweet ending… True Love at its best.
I’ll put up a teaser evaluation then: It is either the best looking update to the world’s best blog, or the ugliest…good work.
