X Factor’s Matt Terry returned to Bromley on Wednesday night to perform his homecoming gig.

The 23-year-old took to the stage to sing I’m Your Man in front of a huge screaming crowd at Bromley’s Market Square.

The finalist also signed autographs for fans as well as taking dozens of selfiees

“That was insane!! Meeting all of you lot was just immense I can’t believe it. Your support tonight has blown me away," he gushed after the show.

Matt, who was looking sharp in a black jumper and brown jacket, was joined by mentor Nicole Scherzinger who was wrapped up against the elements in a woolly hat and matching scarf.

The judge was all smiles as she stood with the budding star onstage at the end of his performance.

Matt will battle it out with Emily Middlemas, 5 After Midnight and Saara Aalto this weekend.

And an X Factor insider revealed to Mirror Online that it’s an ‘open race’ between all four acts.

The source went on to say the voting is the ‘closest it has ever been’.

The insider revealed: "It’s the most open the race has ever been as all four of the remaining contestants have come top in the public vote at least once during the competition.

"This is the first time this has ever happened in the history of The ."

The X Factor elimination is shaping up to be a cracker, with 5 After Midnight the 11/10 favourites to get the boot (55% of bets), whilst Emily Middlemas is offered at 13/8 (40% of bets).

“Matt Terry looks very hard to beat but it will be interesting to see who joins him in the final and the odds suggest 5 After Midnight will miss out,” said William Hill spokesman Rupert Adams.
